    Hi,

Yes, that fixes it. The second entry I mentioned still gets changed (hda12 -> hda1) but without better knowledge I suppose that may be because for some interesting reason grubconf doesn't seem to find my hda12 at all (at least it doesn't appear in
the GUI). It might be something curious regarding my system so I decided not to report it until I have time to look into it further.

I believe you're right ... it is most likely because it doesn't find
    that partition.

I don't think its anything curious about your system ... only that you
    have 12+ partitions.

I'm guessing my [ass]umption about having no more than 9 partitions is applied somewhere else in the code. I will take a look at it when I get
    a chance.

    Thanks for pointing this out!

    Joseph,

How's your schedule looking? Any plans on a new release for grubconf
    soon?

    PS. Can you update:

    http://grubconf.sourceforge.net/?page=info

Saying debian package was completed :)

Your friendly debian grubconf mantainer, Luis

Well, my schedule isn't looking too bad. I really just need to get more organized. I know I always say I'll get to it next weekend, and I
apologize, but I get side tracked and forget about it.

I do plan on making a new release of grubconf soon. I've got some
bugs/requests piling up and think its about time for a new release.

If you have anything you'd want to see in a following release in
    addition to the patches from

    http://ruslug.rutgers.edu/~mcgrof/grubconf/patches/

    just let me know.

I'm glad to hear about the debian package, and thank you for taking the
time to package it and keeping me appraised of its progress (including
the bugs). I really appreciate it!

    Thanks!
    - Joe

Sure :) here is the list of debian-reported bugs for grubconf:

    http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=grubconf

I've closed just now bug #263648 (this was debian specific) and
put in a temporary fix for #260276 (this is the one where > 12 hds are used).

    I can't reproduce #236356

    and

#240843 and #247277 seem like feature requests that should have been
    directly addressed to you.

I'm glad to hear about the debian package, and thank you for taking the
time to package it and keeping me appraised of its progress (including

No problem, part of the job. I'll keep doing what I can with patches,
hopefully that will alleviate your work too.

    Luis
