• Bug#1104519: liblemonldap-ng-common-perl: prompts for unmodified conffi

From Chris Hofstaedtler@21:1/5 to All on Thu May 1 16:00:01 2025
    Package: liblemonldap-ng-common-perl
    Version: 2.21.0+ds-2
    Severity: serious

When upgrading a system from Debian bookworm to Debian trixie, with liblemonldap-ng-common-perl installed, the upgrade prompts for a
conffile change. However that file was never modified in the first
    place, so prompting is inappropriate.

    Command to reproduce below.

    Setting up liblemonldap-ng-common-perl (2.21.0+ds-2) ...

    Configuration file '/var/lib/lemonldap-ng/conf/lmConf-1.json'
==> File on system created by you or by a script.
==> File also in package provided by package maintainer.
What would you like to do about it ? Your options are:
    Y or I : install the package maintainer's version
    N or O : keep your currently-installed version
D : show the differences between the versions
Z : start a shell to examine the situation
The default action is to keep your current version.
