I am attaching an updated patch for 3.24.4+dfsg0. When upgrading a personal repo following the git-debrebase procedure described in dgit-maint-debrebase the worst problem happened when merging changes in this patch. I think
trying this merge is not worth the effort and is much better and simpler to skip this commit when (deb)rebasing and commit fixed stuff as a new commit
on top of previous commits.
