    Package: release.debian.org
    Severity: normal

    Control: affects -1 + src:etbemon

    Please unblock package etbemon

(Please provide enough (but not too much) information to help
the release team to judge the request efficiently. E.g. by
    filling in the sections below.)

    [ Reason ]
It closes bug #1104576 which is RC.

It closes bugs #787766 and #824979.

It fixes a number of lintian issues.

    [ Impact ]
Due to the RC bug it will not be in Trixie. Also the other bugs affect 2 monitor scripts which affect the people who use them.

The lintian and documentation issues are general code quality issues.

    [ Tests ]
There are no automated tests. Manual tests show that it works well.

    [ Risks ]
The code changes are trivial and this is not a key package so there is no
    real risk.

    [ Checklist ]
[x] all changes are documented in the d/changelog
[x] I reviewed all changes and I approve them
[x] attach debdiff against the package in testing

    [ Other info ]
(Anything else the release team should know.)

    unblock etbemon/1.4.1-2
