This message could have been sent by just about anyone, even by someone
who is not part of the Debian community. In any case, even if it was
sent by a Debian member, it does not represent the project at large.
Please don't feel discouraged, Debian is a huge and diverse project, and consequently brings a huge range of moods :-)

Please do not send your users to debian support resources. Debian
mailing lists and irc/matrix channels only support debian, not distros
based on debian, and when your users arrive we can only send them

Second, I never told my users to reach out to debian for RefreshOS support. What I did was provide a link under "additional resources" in case they had
a debian related issue. I made this clear on the website stating:
