    Hi Alex,

    Would you be able to do a porter upload of libdbd-oracle-perl for the
    perl 5.32 transition?

    Hi Dominic,

    Would you be able to do a porter upload of libdbd-oracle-perl
    for the perl 5.32 transition?

    Yesterday I tried to rebuilt it but the Oracle.so isn't linking
    to Oracle propietary libs anymore. I tried to debump dh back to
    version 10, but it didn't work either. I'm guessing that
    something has changed in gcc and/or dh_shlibdeps/dpkg-shlibdeps
    and need to figure out how to deal with it.

    Therefore, please feel free to ask the Release Managers to remove libdbd-oracle-perl from testing if this helps with the perl 5.32
    transition to testing.

    I see that this seems to be fixed now - thanks!

    For the record, it turns out that ld --as-needed was removing the
    references to propietary libs and I just needed to update the
    patch to add -Wl,--no-as-needed before using them.
