  • Global search in kmail b0rken?

    Hi,

    it seems, that the global search in kmail (Extras/Search message) from
    unstable is broken atm (at least for me).

    If I try to search for something, no results are returned. Even a regexp
    search with ".*" for "all messages" and "all folders" does not yield any results.

    Does anyone also observe this?

    Same problem here, moreover, email address autocompletion doesn't work any more on contacts from Kaddressbook (Nextcloud).

    It has been reported upstream in bug #458202.

    Both functions are back once the upstream patch[2] is applied to akonadi.

    Dear maintainers, could you please upload kdepim v22.08.1 or at least a patched version of akonadi ?

    KDE PIM 22.08.2 will be released next week and my plan is to package it
    right or shortly after it has been released. I hope you can manage a
    couple more days with a working search in kmail.

    Small update:

    KDE PIM 22.08.2 is packaged, but I'll have to wait with the upload until
    the ongoing Qt 5.15.6 transition is completed as I don't want to delay
    that even further. I hope it's going to be resolved soon.
