    Hi list,

KJots 5.1.0 no longer works in Sid, it shows "Cannot connect to the Personal Information management service."

Also just noticed that it's removed [1]:

This package is not in any development repository.

So.. how do I get my notes?

Is there any note application that could import KJots data?

Marknote is the replacement for both KNotes and KJots, and it can import their notes:

    Hey,

Please remember to update the wiki for those general issues:
    https://wiki.debian.org/Plasma%206

I updated the wiki to mention the removal of KJots and KNotes. Please update the information about the migration process to marknote.

    Regards,

    Hi Luigi,

    Thanks for suggestion,

Just installed Marknotes, but it suggest to import only from Maildir and KNotes.

    KNotes is not KJots.

Importing from KNotes creates just empty notebook.

    Hey,

We got Gazillions of emails with reports and sometimes hints on how to
    solve issues.

Maybe, it is good to send out a separate email pointing to the "Plasma
6" wiki page encouraging people to participate.

Last, I was only on #debian-kde I asked to enhance the TOPIC with the
    link to it.
Your nick was marked by a [M] - are you admin in this IRC channel?

Nope the [M] indicates, that I'm viewing this channel via matrix (neochat)
But I also have enough permissions to change the topic. In the topic the link to the wiki is already added.

Some weeks someone removed my hints to quassel IRC client and thus
made me unmotivated to contribute further.

What is removed where can you share links? At least from a first view nothing you added to the wiki was removed. I checked the block between your commits.

Just for the record, after the initial lines of M. Biebl I wrote up
    Debian's systemd wiki from scratch.

    thx for doing that!

Maintainer of the systemd package is Tollef Fog Heen (Mithrandir).
Currently, it's discussed to get Michael Biebl (mbiebl) as co-maintainer. Michael and Sedat Dilek (dileks) contributed to the initial version of
    this wiki.

mmh the russian version have information that are not available on the English version - very interesting ;)

For the record, that was me. I removed it because it was simply out of
    scope for that page.
The purpose of that wiki page is to list the quirks that users might
encounter when upgrading from Plasma 5 to Plasma 6 and not to list the
status of the Qt 6 port of every 3rd-party application. If we do that,
we get a pretty long list of apps that does more harm than good.

And quite honestly, it's only important if the app doesn't work any more
under Plasma 6 (e.g. latte-dock). Most Qt 5 applications work perfectly
fine under Plasma 6. I bet most users cannot tell the difference what is
    used under the hood.

Finally, the problem at hand had nothing to do with Quassel and a lack
of a Qt 6 port, but rather with the lack of support for Plasma 6 in
    xdg-utils.
