Does anyone know which package I need to install to have opening ZIP
archives and tarballs as directories in Dolphin work again?

I thought it was this:

% dpkg -L kio-extras | grep archive /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkioarchive6.so.6.0.0 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt6/plugins/kf6/kio/archive.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkioarchive6.so.6

But Dolphin tells me unsupported protocol für ZIP and gzipped tarballs for example.

I bet the necessary package got lost during installation of Plasma 6 from experimental.

Well today this magically works. So apparently whatever it was, it was
only transitional.

By the way in order to use it, it needs to be enabled:

"Open archives as folders" or something like that under "View / General".
I always enable it.
