The installer booted and installed without issue. After rebooting from
the installer the machine booted up to the Grub display. It auto-booted "Debian GNU/Linux, with Linux 6.12.38+deb13-amd64". The machine did not successfully boot. The only thing on the screen was the following:
ACPI: \: Can't tag data node
ACPI: \: Can't tag data node
ACPI: \: Can't tag data node
ACPI: \: Can't tag data node

I rebooted the computer and chose "Debian GNU/Linux, with Linux 6.12.33+deb13-amd64" from the Grub boot menu and the computer booted up
    fine.

What happens if you choose "Debian GNU/Linux, with Linux
    6.12.38+deb13-amd64 (recovery mode) ?

I was unsure if this should be reported against the installer or Linux 6.12.38+deb13-amd64

This looks like a kernel bug in 6.12.38+deb13. The installer just
installs the latest available kernel, whatever it is.
