    You probably don't need to go through sponsorship-requests or Debian
    Mentors for a package that is maintained by the Debian GNOME team;
    just contact the team directly via IRC or email. We'll upload directly
    from Salsa without using the Mentors website.

    Please don't push the release git tag (the tag named like
    debian/48_beta.1-1) if you're not the uploader. Perhaps some teams and
    sponsors do it differently, but I prefer that the tag be used to
    represent the upload to Debian.
