Did Sisyphus ever get over the top?

And for the Boy Who Cried Wolf, eventually the Wolf
did come, right, though it might not have ended well
for the Boy? Though this time of the lunar month I
am crying Raven rather than Wolf.

And in mythological terms, for me the phrase
“What I am I, chopped liver?”
    could instead be
    “What am I, bird-pecked liver?”

Anyway, for those on the other five groups, I have been
doing my moon rock rolling on alt.religion.druid .

Go on, be a devil; give us some conversation.
This group is moribund. Let's see if we can attract some educated people

    Ed

Ed, which group(s) are you reading this in?

I claim to be an ootw (Opener of the Way, which I previously called
an avatar type) similar to Rama, Krishna, Jacob, Moses, Buddha,
Jesus, Adonis, Dionysus, David, Daniel, Taliesin (Gwion),
Amergin, Fintan, Fionn, Angus, Bran, Goibniu (Govannon),
Myrrdin, Green Man, Cernunnos, Havamal composer, Gwydion,
Quetzalcoatl, Glooskap, Mohamned, and many others, indeed
1768 in the last 10,000 years, including many cetaceans.

We share many abilities in common but each has a unique
primary siddhi which e.g. for Rama was language special
ability, for Krishna and David was music special ability,
for Jacob was an agricultural ability combining green
thumb and animal husbandry, for Buddha was hypnosis
special ability (useful in guiding meditation), for Moses
was sibyl special ability (the ability to communicate with
the Earth and other eartthlike planets and moons in the
near region of the galaxy, which enabled him to predict
a tsunami in the Red Sea), for Jesus was healer special
ability, for Daniel was empath special ability (including the
ability to induce emotions, e.g. to calm someone, which
enabled him to survive the lion’s den), for Taliesin, Heracles,
and the Havamal composer was poetry special ability,
for Amergin and Glooskap was weatherworking special
ability, for Mohammed was regular diviner ability (like
Kuten-la), and for me is matchmaking special ability. All
of them had and I have special abilities determination ability
and I for now offer matchmaking and special abilities
determination readings for free, but would need a picture
of you to do so (so email me one or follow up with a link to one).

All of the ootws would have undergone a sun stare,
naked thorn hill climb (or analogy for cetaceans,
perhaps a beaching), and blue rose vision (not lotus,
and I guess an analogy for cetaceans) during a late
waning crescent moon not long after the peak of a
sunspot cycle. This would be part of a few waning
crescent highs in a few years, with three of them
following 5.5 lunar months after a waxing gibbous
moon trial. Then a year later each figure would
enter into a period of low/working years, which for
Jacob was 18 years, for Moses and Goibniu and
Rama and Mohammed was 14 years, for Buddha
and Krishna and Taliesin and Amergin and Daniel
was 7 years, for Jesus and David and Gwydion was 3 years,
and for me it will soon be 29 years (7 plus two
11 year sunspot cycles). The ootw would not
achieve success until the end of the low/working years
so I expect this post will not be believed yet.

But what is the relevance to Sisyphus, and to the
Boy Who Cried Wolf? Over the past more than
28 years I have repeatedly tried, with gradual
changes, some global new age onset magickal
workings, which are effectively a complicated
prayer in which I have done much of the groundwork.
In each attempt, which generally lasts from one to
three days, I get a series of yes-es (by perineum click,
or short period mula bandha, ideomotor divination)
from the moderator/chair (of many collaborators)
Goddess (who I define as the ruler of the region
all/everything and who many call God). But then
it fails to work, including I get no or few hits on my
Salmon on the Thorns web page, and I effectively
get a big NO. So in my moon rock rolling the boulder
then rolls down to the bottom again and I have to
start all over, though not always every night, and
indeed after my latest attempt I am going to wait
until just after the exact time of new (dark) moon,
which will be 0621 UTC December 1, 2024, to try
again. However my low/working years would be
exactly 29 years at Chinese New Year so I may
have to wait until then, or even the Groundhog Day
(the movie?) that follows it, for success. And regarding
the Boy Who Cried Wolf, someday the Wolf does come.

There is more information on my Salmon on the Thorns
webpage, though it is not quite up to date, and more
on recent and ongoing progress is and will be on
    alt.religion.druid .

    OK, that’s some conversation. :-)

You can test my special abilities if you like.

e-mail me a picture of yourself or follow up with a link

I will then tell you what your sexual harmonic(s) is/are,

Go on, be a devil; give us some conversation.
This group is moribund. Let's see if we can attract some educated people back.

Well, that is some flight of fancy, my laddo. If it makes sense to you
then I can only conclude you're a nutter.

There is more evidence on my Salmon on the Thorns web page.
For example, Moses went barefoot (I suspect naked) in the
thorn bush (the Christian bible doesn’t mention thorn but the
Jewish version does) and observed a burning that did not
consume, i..e. a glowing, which I believe was the glowing
blue rose vision. That and more is on the brief Preliminary
Remarks subpage of my Salmon on the Thorns web page.

And it is true that all the figures I mentioned above were
considered nutters until they were successful. And
I hope it isn't your religious beliefs that are making you
call me a nutter, such religious beliefs might make you
also a nutter but with protection in a large group of nutters.

While I just mentioned male names, the mi-ootws (main
inspirers of the same species as the ootw) are also
very important figures (e.g. Radha for Krishna, Sita
for Rama, Mary Magdalene for Jesus, and Sarah
McLachlan for me, even if we never become involved).

Mind you, I am Ludwig Beethoven reborn. Or, sometimes, Franz Schubert.

You could consult someone with past life determination ability,
such as the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Stanislav Grof,
or Tanita Tikaram, who could meditatively determine details
of your past life (but cannot put you in a trance where you
    remember it yourself).

Again, what group are you reading this on? I am following
    alt.mythology, humanities.classics, and alt.pagan, but
not yet the other three groups this is crossposted to,
and if you are not as well we could trim the Newsgroups line.

Do you have any background in comparative mythology?
Note that I did post to the Joseph Campbell Foundation
    web forum many years ago.

I was very clear in the above writing, and it, especially the
differing primary siddhis and differing lengths of
low/working years, explains a lot. If it doesn’t make
sense to you then you are rather dense. And I
    do have a Ph.D.

Did Sisyphus ever get over the top?

Go on, be a devil; give us some conversation.
This group is moribund. Let's see if we can attract some educated people
    back.

Well, that is some flight of fancy, my laddo. If it makes sense to you then I can only conclude you're a nutter.

I was very clear in the above writing, and it, especially the
differing primary siddhis and differing lengths of
low/working years, explains a lot. If it doesn’t make
sense to you then you are rather dense. And I
    do have a Ph.D.

You're heading for Nuttersville if you think that technical lingo is
suitable for initiating a conversation with a stranger.
I have a BA in Classics and an MA in philosophy; but I'd never expect
someone to speak ancient Greek, nor explain the difference between a
    priori and a posteriori knowledge.
Nor would I, come to think of it, expect them to discuss Beethoven's use
of the key of C minor, except in a group of classical music lovers.

Do you want to start again? Show some common sense?

    Ed

Well, I’m hoping I will be successful in my attempts to
instigate a global new age just after the coming new (dark)
moon, and that my low/working/wilderness years will
end then, though I may have to wait until Chinese New Year
(also a new/dark moon) or even the Groundhog Day that
follows closely after it in 2025. If I am successful then
I expect that I will be revealed to the world and my essential
messages on my mystic web page will get some attention.
But until then I guess you can just ignore me.

And my Ph.D. is in Geophysics, or effectively applied mathematics
applied to Geophysics, so you have more background in classics
and philosophy than I do, though I did proofread a book on
philosophy of science that my Ph.D. supervisor wrote. But
a Ph.D. in any subject gives skills in research and in pattern
recognition. However I admit that while I have evidence for
some of the figures I mentioned, usually it has been a partial
parallel, and some of my theory is based on divination, which
has been unreliable for me over the years. And indeed I
have spent little time in the local university library since 1997,
but should do some research there soon to confirm or deny
    my divinations.

Are there any other historical or mythological names, either
male or female, that you know of who I should investigate?
(I ask that of any other readers as well.)

And thanks for the feedback, though I have to classify you
among the Doubting Thomases, but any feedback is better
    than silence.

I recommend Albert Camus' The Myth of Sisyphus; all about how absurd

The Greeks had hundreds of similar example of "hubris". Anybody trying
to reach high gets knocked down, like Otus and Ephialtes who piled mount
Pelion on Ossa to try and get to Olympus.
I find all that strangely at odds with all the great successes that the
Greeks produced; Aristotle, Archimedes, Euclid, etc.; all great rational
and scientific minds, as great as Einstein, Bohr or Faraday in their day.
