Greetings.
I know this is probably off-topic, but I'm running out of places to ask.
Once a week, we do a backup to a 3.5" hard disk. Once a week, I take
the hard disk out of the array, put it in a static bag, put them in a
box, and take it to our "disk library administrator". She takes the disk-and-bag out of the box, puts it in her disk-storage box in her safe,
takes the next disk-and-bag out of the disk-storage box in her safe, and
gives it to me. I put the disk-in-bag back in the box, carry it back
to my machine, and insert the disk into the disk array for next week's
backup.
The boxes that I have are about 1/2-inch wider and an inch longer than
the drive, and have little tabs to hold the disk in place.
The boxes are breaking, and I need to replace them.
I cannot find a box large enough to hold a 3.5" hard disk in a poorly-
fitting anti-static bag. All of the boxes I can find are form-fitted
to the hard disk, and usually have their own anti-static capabilities. Unfortunately, this won't work for my safe.
I need to find a box that will match my current one, with enough wiggle-
room to hold a 3.5" hard disk in a static bag.
Can anybody recommend one to me?
