  • Reset Ultra45 OpenBOOT password ?

    Does anyone remember how to reset the SUN Ultra45 OpenBOOT password ? I cannot boot the machine without password, so doing this from the Solaris level will not work.

    Find another machine that you can login to, take its' hard drive and
    boot from it on the passworded machine. Reset the boot password from
    the other solaris. Now you are free.

    Otherwise, replace the NVRAM.
