If I use PuTTY on a serial connection where RTS/DTR is connected to the hardware, it is necessary to be able to reset RTS/DTR when starting.
I have not been able to find a method that works with PuTTY.
Other terminal programs can do this, but PuTTY is the best terminal
program I've tried.
I can do this with a switch, but it would be more elegant if it was
built into the program
