    there is no conspiracy. the reason is simple: apple did a cost-benefit calculation and determined that they did not want to maintain two
    separate tracks for the small minority of users who want to stay on ios
    14.

    Bearing in mind how brilliant Apple marketing is, I suspect nospam is partly correct in assuming Apple planned this very carefully to get them out of the debacle they were in on their CSAM disaster.

    Like the frog placed in the boiling water, Apple realized even the normally cluelessly gullible Apple customer jumped out of that idiotic CSAM pot.

    Apple said then that their "only mistake" wasn't CSAM but that their mistake was in not bringing the boiling water to boil slowly with _you_ in the pot.

    This move to force people onto CSAM just adds the slow boil that they introduced recently back toward the CSAM surveillance on the iphone.

    1. Any fact you don't like about Apple you will brazenly deny _is_ a fact.
    2. Any fact you can't deny - you will _still_ brazenly deny that fact, JR.
    3. Finally, you will fabricate unending _excuses_ when you can't deny it.

    The real problem, JR, is you three apologists violently _hate_ any and all facts about Apple products - which is why you claim all facts are BAD.

    Even when the entire world is telling you a fact you don't want to hear, you "protect" yourself from that fact by exclaiming that the entire world is out
    to get Apple - as you just did there.

    I think we've found the crux of Areleen's psychosis, s/he/it is in
    desperate need to be noticed, even going so far as to claim 'enemy'
    status from people who don't care enough about him to think about him

    I'm quite different from you in that I'm rather well educated at the finest schools in the country and I worked for decades retiring early in Silicon Valley startups showing that I own stellar adult comprehension skills.

    Yet we're both users and owners of Apple equipment (although I also own Android, Windows, and Linux equipment at the same time as Apple stuff).

    The biggest difference between us, besides your lack of intelligence, is
