I have an old 712/100 PA-Risc that runs a product, so I'm frozen into this version. I'm trying to find a compiler for it so I can put some reasonable tools on it.
Does anyone have a copy of an old precompiled gcc for 9.05? All of the archives for that that I could find are offline and not saved in archive.org.
the usual story, "the internet" never forgets, except those things,
which you are desperately looking for.
Anyway, I seem to have an offline mirror of ftp.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/local/unix/hpux/9.0.5,
which carried gcc-2.7.2.2,
if this isn't too old for you.
Alternatively, a copy of the HP ANSI C compiler would work.
that's more complicated, because usually it required a codeword.
Unless some kind soul had copied it to a netdist server
(leaving legal issues aside for a moment).
Any help appreciated
thanks
