Hi Alan, remember this from 2006?
Talk about stalking! You should know about that.

Do some homework. I could buy and sell you with my pocket change.
Yeah? If I bought you for what you're worth and sold you for what you think you're worth I'd be richer than Bill Gates! :-P
Larry finally made it worth my while (because it would be sufficiently
funny to embarrass him if my suspicions are true), so I did a little
digging.
Larry's business: Del Mar Data? It's website gives its address as:
"Del Mar Data
POB 1638
7671 La Brisa Road
Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067"
Only, as far as I could determine, there is no 7671 La Brisa Road. The
numbers on La Brisa -- a purely high-rent residential street, only run
from 17000 to about 17600; making it impossible for it to have been a
typo either.
So I poke around some more.
The telephone number for Del Mar Data, is also listed as the home number
of one Larry Whitaker, whose address happens to be listed as:
"PO Box 1638
Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067-1638
(858) 759-7411"
Now, how many "buy and sell you" kind of people do you know whose
business and home numbers are the same? How many do you know who don't
have an unlisted number?
Interestingly, there is an "Avenida Brisa" which is located right at the
Morgan Run Resort and Golf Club, but once again, the highest number that
Google Maps knows about is 4099. And besides, the houses on that street
aren't the kind a "buy and sell you" sort of guy would be living in.
If I had to guess, I'd say that Larry lives in one of the 1500 - 2500
sq. ft. houses to be found on the Avenida Brisa, but lists his business
address on La Brisa Road because those *are* the sorts of places a "buy
and sell you kind of guy might want to live, and with any luck, he can
convince anyone who checks into it that he's a "buy and sell you" kind
of guy.
Want more proof? What guy who can "buy and sell you" has as the only
contact person listed for his business: his own name.
My dad isn't really "buy and sell you rich"; at least, not unless
earning something around very low seven figures a year from a business
he owns 90% of makes you one, but if you look at
<
http://www.factorforms.com/> you don't see his name anywhere.
Anyway, it just kind of struck me, that's all.
