    Not the case, there are many tales of woe where CarPlay did not play nice with some car makes. Honda is the one I know about because that is what I drive. Here are a few links:

    Honda even replaced my entire system under warranty. That did not help. Something changed for me in September when iOS 17 came out.

    Works great on all Hondas here. Must be operator error.
