Or just use !RISCOSM with the Open Street maps, they supply. No javascript needed.

I'm one of the users of !RiscOSM. The big benefit is, you can use
it without the need to be online.
In both cases, !RiscOSM and the above showed website, it is not
possible to search for an adress (with house number and street), is
it?
I'm sure, this could work also without the need of Javascript. As I
wrote before, I think most web pages are the problem if things
aren't working. Not the web browser like !NetSurf.
A.

Here in the UK, one usually knows the Post Code, which enables the
street location to be found easily in RiscOSM.
If not, and you have the Nominatim application, you can ask RiscOSM to
search for a street name in Nominatim, and it will return a list of
results - the more details you provide, the less it returns. Does that
not work where you are?

Thanks for the hint. I wasn't aware about !Nominatim. I had never
used it before. It seems to me that you have to be online to use
it, though.

Yes, it relies on the online Nominatim API and the massive database behind it. It doesn't just have the location of millions of buildings, you can also do queries such as:
computer shops in berlin
bus stops near unter den linden
castles in bavaria
or, in fact:
burgen in bayern
