Has anyone else had a problem downloading news from Eternal September?
Since yesterday I'm unable to download any messages from the comp.mobile.android group - Newshound just stops for several minutes
and eventually times out. I've received one message from csa.announce
today, so neither Newshound nor Eternel September is completely broken,
but something is wrong.

I'm still getting stuff coming through okay on the newsgroups I have
configured in Newshound via Eternal September.

I've emailed the contact address to ask him to take a look.

If anyone else would like to try: the newsgroup in question is comp.mobile.android - you could ask Newshound to request -20 or so,
which means the last 20 messages. Unsubscribe affter your experiment
is over.

Clock

Permissions in Android 12.

similar to Dave S messages. Note I am using the NH version from you,

A few more experiments on my part showed that, if I adjust the number
of the last received article forward by a few, it works!

Dunno why that should be (maybe the article had been cancelled?) but
I'm up and running again.

FWIW.
I still have the comp.mobile.android in the nes server file, and the three times I've run NewsHound today that downloads okay.

I'm using the older NewsHound 1.152-32
