Is there a way of discovering Internet upload and download speeds from
RISC OS? I have the Ookla app on the PC so don't actually need a RISC OS solution but it would be nice to have.

Not that I am aware of. You could run Ookla in Iris if you want, but
somewhat pointless to be honest. It will not give you a true picture of
your download and upload speeds due to the RISC OS Network stacks
performance.
