This group is the reorganization.s grand experiment, dedicated to me, to
Marc Barrett, to Thad Floryan, and to all the others who think that
Commodore could be doing a lot better job if they'd only focus their attention on our concerns, instead of grubby profit margins.
I hope and pray that this becomes the most heavily posted group in the
Amiga hierarchy, because, frankly, most of the subscribers don't want to
see this kind of traffic, and those of us who do can whale away at each
other to our hearts' content over here.
Use this group when the mood to post a comparision of the Amiga to Brand
X, or a need to flame Commodore marketing, or an "Amiga ad seen on the
seven o'clock news", or a "The NeXT couldn't calculate the path out of a
T maze" or "Amiga software; what Amiga software?" mood comes upon you,
and you'll find a lot of friends willing to tell you at length and in
detail where to get off. Let the wars begin! But keep it out of the rest
of the groups, please.
With a little common sense, the folks at C= will take the time to wade through the postings here looking for gems among the garbage. Not every
idea posted with vigor is a bad one, after all.
Oh, yeah. Since they frequently lead to flame fests, benchmark postings
are especially welcome here.
And remember the Amiga USENet mantra: "Take it to .advocacy!"
