I have released a new RISC OS application called PhoneVal which is at
version 1.00
PhoneVal is an International Phone Number Validation application, in
which when a phone number and country is selected then some basic data
about the number will be returned. Which then can be saved as either
plain text or HTML.
It does require a working internet connection and wget to work, plus an
API key from the data providers Number Verification. Part of the API
Layer platform.
It comes with four language packs which are English, Dutch, French,
German and Italian.
I have some ideas for some improvements to the application, one of which
is if the country phone code is known then the country will not need to
be selected.
