Birthdays, weekends, and holidays are just like any other
    day, AFAIC.

i wonder how the weekend idea happened? that is one thing i
    am not
going to complain about, weekends and holidays.

I just saw an explanation on facebook that is going around,
    but it went
in one eye and out the other.  It was the reason behind the
    weekend.
Some tenement master went soft on his workers and it became the
    weekend.

in china they dont have weekends, they have what is known as
    996 system.

which is: working 6 days a week, 9 am to 9 pm. that is what
    they do,
which is why they will become a peer competitor to the us in a
    few
    years, probably 2030.

All you've done is cement the idea that it really, really
    sucks to live in China.

And since you admire them so much -- and even have a problem
with birthdays, FFS -- it would probably really, really
    suck to work under you.

I found a pocket of Chinese Communism here on Usenet.  This group c.s.i.p.g.action is just a venue for Spalls Hurgenson to push his
obscure games through the pipeline and mass produce them for
free. Free games is exactly what is ruining the internet.  These
guys are stuck in the year 2000 playing Half Life 2 while
meanwhile the rest of the world is playing Assassin's Creed and
    Elden Ring.

Games for all is making Every Game Poor.  Try to remind them that
it's a capitalist country here in IBM world.

I can tell you believe it.  But why would too many elites be a
