Golly, another Lovecraftian game. I thought adventure
games were my type, but perhaps it's The Great Old
Ones that are my thing? A very Indie game, it0MQHA uses
hand-drawn artwork (which you'll either love or hate
from the start) and old-school role-playing mechanics.
Lots0Y6EY of text in this one too, so only the literate
need apply.* A bit unpolished in areas (movement
especially is annoyingly slow) but DFRF7overall a fun
experience for Lovecraft fans... well, as 'fun' as
meddling in Things Man Was Not Meant To Understand
can ever be. ;-)
Ok, I was unsure about this one at first as horror is not really my
thing but everything else about it I like including the graphics
style. It seems to be a mix of adventure and RPG. I took this one.
I think I am going to play this one next. I am really curious about
this game. I don't think the slow walking speed is going to bother me
as I am used to playing Sierra games without speeding up character
movement.
Thank you for sharing another adventure game here Spalls.
