I just had a yak with a friend who is a long-time and current

exploring ideas for developing for other platforms, but that
the Amiga is their bread'n'butter, hell, just look at their ads -
they're ALL Amiga products. They have Brilliance 2.0 and the
Video Slot Box coming out shortly with more Amiga stuff in the
works as well, so they are as puzzled as everyone else why
Jim Meyer, who has co-written a couple of their manuals, would
say that DC is abandoning the Amiga marketplace.
Something about this whole affair smells rotten but I can't quite
put a finger on it. And then I'd have to wash my finger anyway.

Harv! I just had to look this thread up all these years later, especially since Commodore filed for bankruptcy a scant 2 months after my editorial in ViewPort. Did you know that Jim Norris wrote me to tell me how sorry he was for starting this thread? He
mentioned that it was you who fed him all the misinformation. So yes, something smells rotten, but it would appear that it's your own orifice into which you'd inserted your finger.
