I just downloaded
https://www.apple.asimov.net/images/games/collections/san_inc_prodos/mindshadow%20PRODOS%20%28san%20inc%20pack%29.po
. Opened fine with CiderPress as a standard 800KB ProDOS disk image.
Are the downloaded files 819,200 bytes long?
Be sure to download the file as a binary and not as text.
Since it's coming from a webserver, there's not really any control over that
as (AFAIK) all HTTP/HTTPS transfers are binary. RFC 2046 ยง4.1.1* says that anything sent under the text/plain MIME type must use CR/LF newlines, though most webservers don't enforce that and will send whatever is in the file.
In any case, the files being served up by Asimov shouldn't be (and aren't)
sent as text/plain, but are sent as application/octet-stream, which is the catch-all binary MIME type.
For sh*ts and grins, I checked the copy on my mirror:
https://home.alfter.us/s/oHoqDa7yGDwc9Fd/download?path=%2Fpub%2Fapple_II%2Fimages%2Fgames%2Fcollections%2Fsan_inc_prodos&files=mindshadow%20PRODOS%20(san%20inc%20pack).po
It also opened in CiderPress without issue.
(My mirror is updated on Monday mornings (US/Pacific) by running wget
against the Asimov FTP server.)
