Since most ISPs do not have USENET servers, there is no more eternal September. It is pretty quiet around here these days.

ISPs got greedy and began cutting services (while still rising prices)
years ago. Very few, if any, still provide free Usenet access, free
email addresses, or free website space these days. Banks are doing teh
same style of service dcutting while charging more style of "customer
    service". X-(

The Eternal Septmeber Usenet access provider does still exist (I'm
using it now), as do other Usenet access providers, including the free-but-awful Google Groups access to Usenet.

The two real reasons this newsgroup and many others are dead / dying is
because very few people even know about Usenet let alone bother with
it, and the Amiga* died long ago, thanks to Commodore management's incompetence. Both reasons combined means this is an incredible niche
    newsgoup.
