  • 4800bps mod for type 6 mouse?

    Hello. The old Sun type-5 mice could be changed from 1200bps serial to 4800bps by changing a link wire on the circuit board. Does anyone know if this is possible with the type-6?

    Sun sold the Type-6 in both 1200bps (370-3631) and 4800bps (370-4086) versions, but I don't know if it's as simple as changing a link or if the two are fundamentally different inside.
