    https://www.ibm.com/common/ssi/ShowDoc.wss?docURL=/common/ssi/rep_ca/4/897/ENUS186-124/index.html

This gives a MUCH better description of the MPCA...

    VERY different from the PS/2 MPCA/A: https://www.ibm.com/common/ssi/ShowDoc.wss?docURL=/common/ssi/rep_ca/6/877/ENUSZG88-0126/index.html

Which uses the Intel 8273 for Bisync/SDLC/HDLC protocols, and DOESN'T have an 80C51 MCU onboard.

Would like to compare the RT to PS/2, one thing I was possumbly unable
to see is that the RT does NOT use an x86 CPU. So for the RT, it makes
    sense to have a 80C51 on-board...
