  • Anybody want a convertible?

    It probably needs a capacitor job. I can get it to come up for a
    minute, then it craps out.
    I am going to chuck it but I thought I would ask.

    Greg, I'd be willing to pay to have it sent my way. I've got two PC Convertibles (Type 5140 for those "not in the know"), one of which is working perfectly, the other is working but has several "issues". A combination of parts from yours and my second
    one might result in two "working perfectly" (or close to it) and one "basket case". I'll send you an email so that you get my Gmail address, I've retired my Juno address and I retired almost 2 years ago so the vnet.ibm.com address is very dead.
