• SCSI-2 F/W on Reply Boards?

From William Murray@21:1/5 to All on Sat Apr 15 13:09:15 2023
As far as I know, the only PS/2 models that support the SCSI-2 F/W adapters are the 85/90/95. However, has anyone tried using the corvette with any of the Reply boards for the 70/80? I was thinking about buying one; is there a possibility it might work?

The SCSI-2 F/W adapter does not have on-board SCSI BIOS ROM (system BIOS extensions), so it will only work in systems that have IBM SCSI
    extensions in the system ROM.

There is an empty socket for SCSI BIOS ROM on the adapter, so it would
be possible to make it compatible with other systems with some effort: https://ardent-tool.com/IBM_SCSI/SCSI-FW.html#PLCC_Socket

I don't think Reply included these extensions in any of their firmware
    builds, but I can double-czech.

Unless there’s a pre made image I can simply burn into an eeprom (or a tutorial for how to make one), it’s probably not something I can do then...

I've been trying as I have a Reply TurboProcessor 80 board. With the ADF files on the Reply Reference diskette, the system hangs when reading the ADF files when the Corvette Turbo is slotted.
