So, did you look on the diagnostics diskette for the two files?

Not a certainty, but worth a look.

Oh. Since you ran adv diags, somehow the refdisk works?

    I am so konfuzed...

I checked the XGAPNI.DGS file and it is from 27/08/1993, I could not see XGAANI.DGS on the refdisk

I tryied a couple of things, I used the REFSTAMP program on a dos bootdisk, and copied some
files from a test program onto it, and ran some tests. You can clearly see the artifacts.
I have taken some photos when i ran the test progam, they are in the SLC3 folder.

When I used a second program to test the graphics, the computer locked up and rebooted....!!

Have also tried to use an XGA-2 in the MCA slot, and then i ran the test one more time, and here
the computer did not lockup and reboot. So there must be something wrong with the onboard XGA-2
is it possible to use REFSTAMP on the C-drive, then perhaps the machine could be forced to boot....?? -
    just an idea.....
