    After deep meditation this morning, I understood that 59G1885 is the
    ASIC with the magic ECC-P mojo.

    Read the announcement letter for the 9585-K/N, it -DOES- support ECC-P.

    Which one is the memory controller, I dinna ken. BUT this controller
    handles FPM, ECC-P, and EOS.
