Hah, looks like it no longer crashes when sending NNTP messages.
Strange. There were NNTP-related fixes in some of the previous minor updates, but these didn't fix the problem for me. I don't see any NNTP bugfixes in the latest (102.3.3) release notes... yet it works meow. Hmm
Louis, can you confirm? (if you still have TB installed for emails)

Hey, that sounds hopeful!
I'm still holding station at 91.11.0 (64-bit) on Mint 20.2

Yeah, perhaps alt.test would have been a better place for this. But I'd
be posting my results here anyway, since I know that some CSIPH members
are interested in knowing what the situation with TB 102 is.
Well, if anyone finds this thread distracting, then I apologize.
Hopefully my other contributions offset this "inconvenience".

never had any issues

most of the tiume through SSH X session
would help maybe to give details of your setup, as it could be hardware related issue at your end. example RAM

can you change server to aioe.org
AFAIR no need for user name or password
and try again

I'm not gonna update to 102 again just to test this, but I intend to do a clean install on one of my other machines... so I'll test it there.

Good question!
I'll check the changelogs and give the 102 branch another try this weekend...

No hurry, TB 91 still works (on Linux anyway).
Referring to Moussa's hint: aioe.org is down. Has been for a while already. No idea why or what happened there. Used it for years without problems and very little downtime.

Took a big step: jumped from 91.11.0 to 115.10.1 (64-bit, Linux)
So far no issues.
Not really fond of the new look and feel, but maybe I can tweak it a bit font-wise.
