    Yup.

Hopefully they didn't damage something by powering the system on with
    the adapter not seated correctly...

Not sure if that would do much damage.

It shouldn't, unless you end up with some rare scenario - like part of
the edge connector being offset by 1 or 2 pins - no direct shorts to
ground and the two supply voltages appearing where they aren't supposed to.

Seeing the bent tab on the other adapter tells me the video card was
probably never secured correctly in the first place...

Selling with a significant price tag, but can't even be bothered to run a damp rag over the case to clean it up a bit for the photo shoot -- sad.

1.44 diskette. He doesn't mention any memory sticks or hard drive so I
am guessing they are missing. He also didn't say anything about a POST
code, just that it seems to power on so I bet this thing is deader
    than disco.
One of those adapters is strange to me, the BNC connector and a 15 pin
    D shell? WTF?

AUI connector for thick ethernet. See the sliding bracket? BNC and AUI,
    common ports on 10 Mbit.

OK thanks. We never used them. IBM was token ring but usually our PC
was plugged into the internal IBM network through a 3270 port or dial
up if we were on the road. I still think that was a whole lot more
secure than anything they do now.

Yeah, or open the machine and show the guts... Some sellers just don't care.

Yeah, like I mentioned the adapter looks like the Ethernet Adapter/A or
SMC 8013. But it's hard to tell for sure...

There are two floppy drives in the machine - 3.5" 2.88 MB manual eject
and 5.25" 1.2 MB electronic eject.

I don't think they even bothered opening the machine, let alone trying
to diagnose it. But you never know... some ebay sellers intentionally
hide facts (not accusing anyone, I have no past experience with this
    person).
