A friendly Hallo,

I am new in Maple. And so I need help in using syntax. A task like:

Look for the minimum of

sqrt[ 106 + log^2_a cos(ax) + log_a cos^10(ax) ] +
sqrt[ 58 + log^2_a sin(ax) - log_a sin^6(ax) ] +
sqrt[ 5 + log^2_a tan(ax) + log_a tan^2(ax) ]

and search for a and x in case of minimum I have got "per pedes" minimum=sqrt(97)+sqrt(65)+sqrt(5).

I tried with use of "minimize". But it did not go. What is to do?
