  • DECUServe inaccessible

    At the moment I can't connect to DECUServe, including the website.

    I assume something having to do with a firewall/packet filter, IDS
    or something along those lines marked my IP address in a way that
    disallows me and through another IP address I do manage to connect.
    I did switch to a different SFTP client recently and perhaps it
    malfunctioned.

    Could anyone who maintains DECUServe reallow my IP address and/or
    let me know what caused this block in the first place?

    Are you still having trouble accessing the system?

    I can access via the web at the https://eisner.decus.org/online/

    Similarly, I just logged in via SSH.

    Note that it uses a non-standard port number for SSH access; it's not 22.

    In addition to what Rob said, if you still can't get in, email your IP
    address to me, and I'll check to see if it's in the filter list.

    I'm aware, but that's not the cause (otherwise I wouldn't have been
    able to connect through another IP address).
