    Was there even such a thing as a RAM expansion for the ZX Spectrum ?

    The last Sinclair RAM expansion I remember was the external RAM pack
    for the ZX81. Three magic words: "RAM pack wobble" :-) About as firmly
    anchored as a Blake's 7 set... :-)

    I liked the bit about the MicroVax running one of the few TCP/IP stacks
    that didn't crash the machine every week or two.

    In the early days of the Spectrum, there was a version sold with only
    16KB. I bet someone built an expansion pack for that. The whole Z80 bus
    was on the edge connector, so it would not be hard.
