OK, the issue is resolved. I decided to play around w/ AOO it again,
doing the following.
Going over the ReadMe, I:
- completed the entries for Default Internet Applications, +
- shadowed QuickStart in the Startup folder.
I doubt either of these had any effect, particularly since I didn't
boot the computer after those additions.
I then went to the <yum install> command. (Obviously always a good
idea, but one I don't recall whether I did or did not employ on
another machine w/ a working AOO.)
It only seemed to require installation of <libxslt>. However, on
commanding this installation, yum, after apparent installation, noted
some version anomaly. Using ANPM to examine the Installed components, <libxsll> was there. (However, perhaps it was there previously.)
So, I looked at the Available components and decided to install <libxslt-python> as perhaps aiding but almost certainly not hurting.
I then finally tried AOO again, and Lo-and-Behold it opened. Why I
don't know, but in any event the problem is solved.

I just recently installed ArcaOS 5.0.7. I afterwards installed the
subject version of AOO. However upon attempting to open it the
attached error message is displayed.
I of course have checked and <deploy.dll> is located in the <ApacheOpenOffice.4\program> directory. In the event it assists, the
file size is 577,138 and it is dated 10/20/21.
Running any of the components from the command line yields no text but
only the same error massage.
Any ideas?
