  • ArcaOS can not start anymore - DelayHardError SYS3175: 4 string(s):

    I'm currently setting up a test system with ArcaOS 5.3.xxx. It installed well and I
    installed some of my programs without problems. The hardware runs OS/2 and ArcaOS quite
    well since years. Now I installed my own registered NDFS instead the ArcaOS delivered
    version and I made a yum update. But now pmshell does not start anymore. Only the cursor
    on the left top position flashes.

    As I read some time ago all IFS statements should be at the beginning of config.sys I
    moved IFS=P:\util\NDFS\NDFS32.IFS from the bottom of config.sys right after the other IFS
    statements.

    I'm not sure if the debug kernel output is really useful in this case as ArcaOS does have
    the patched 201 kernel. But as I've installed qsinit on this system too I tried to start
    with the debug kernel. Below is the com log.

    Any hints?

    (1) Which Netdrive version did you install? (v.3.1.6 here)
    (2) any additional hints from popuplog.os2, from ndctl.log?
    (2) in config.sys ? (this one near the end possibly...):
    RUN=<path to NDFS>\NDCTL.EXE
    (3) Have you got the _full_ Samba plugin installed as well?
    (ndpsmb.dll about 3.7MB)
