    One of the biggest ongoing jokes in NYC is to ask people if they know
    who Chuck Schumer is.
    Some do and some don't.
    For those that do know who he is, the followup question is usually something like
    "can you tell me something he has done that benefited you directly"

    Nobody, including me, can.

    Chuck Schumer has been in politics since 1975 so 50 years.
    He is the poster boy for term limits.
