vlc video failure on intel display
After the recent upgrade to Centos-7.3, video for vlc fails to work on a system using the intel driver, whereas smplayer works and, on another 7.3 system with an nvidia display card and driver, vlc works fine. The following are the error messages from
the console output:
[h264 @ 0x7fd1f0c306e0] hardware accelerator failed to decode picture [00007fd1b4001268] vdpau_display vout display error: video mixer surface width capabilities query failure: VDP_STATUS_NO_IMPLEMENTATION
[VS] error (vdpVideoSurfaceGetBitsYCbCr): not implemented conversion VA FOURCC ^@^@^@^@ -> VDP_YCBCR_FORMAT_YV12
[00007fd1b4660928] vdpau_chroma filter error: video surface export failure: VDP_STATUS_INVALID_Y_CB_CR_FORMAT
Any ideas?
