Q: Do they SIMULTANEOUSLY fully support more than one release at a time?

Note: "Full support" is specifically intended to mean they promise to fix
EVERY bug that they know of in that release (not just some bugs - but all).

The question came up on the Apple newsgroup today, given Apple is clearly
on record for never having SIMULTANEOUSLY supported more than a single
release at a time for full hotfix support (i.e., a promise to fix all bugs
they know of)... whether Google/Samsung are similar to Apple - or not.

Are they?

With the EU forcing phone OEMs to declare not only how long their batteries last in number of chargers before they drop below acceptable levels, the UK also required OEMs to publicly declare their promised full support length.

In response, Apple and Google and Samsung are on record for full operating system bugfix support for five years, seven years, and seven years
respectively for upcoming devices (with Google/Samsung making the ambiguous statement that it could be "up to" seven releases in that time frame while Apple makes the unambiguous statement that they have never simultaneously supported more than one release at a time).

In summary, does anyone know if Google/Samsung fully support SIMULTANEOUSLY more than one Android release at a time? Or just one?

While the Apple religious zealots will hope to dear God that Apple
will fully support their devices longer than that, Apple still only
fully supports a single release - such that here's are reasons iPhones
