Need Simple List App with Copy/Paste or Import

I'd like recommendations for a simple list app that allows me to import
or copy/paste a text file list from scratch. Must assign a separate
checkbox to each imported list entry. Would like a simple checkbox
on/off toggle to denote which list items are done. Must sort
alphabetically. Google Tasks, Google Keep, Chore Checklist and Listy do
NOT do what I want. Thanks.

Offhand I don't know of any apps that do the first requirement (which is to import a text file or pasted list into a checkbox format) but plenty do the second (which is just the checkbox for each line item entered manually).

You probably already knew that.
So this post isn't really going to help you.

But I tried.

For you, I checked each of the no-advertisements checkbox apps below and
none of them would import a text file of line items or even paste in those
line items. You had to manually create the checkbox line items one by one.
