    Do you have news?

no news news, just that it's in the oven

Personally T-Bird doesn't impress me one bit.
I use Sylpheed for mail and T-Bird & Pan for usenet

We have a bunch of threads on this topic that K-9 was taken over by the
Mozilla Thunderbird folks - but my opinion is the following.

    1. I won't hold my breath for K-9 to be decent on Android.
    2. I use, instead, FairEmail (which I consider vastly better).
    3. On Windows, I use both Thunderbird & BetterBird (almost the same).

I used K-9 for years until I found out about FairEmail.

I've been using K-9 from the start, since it was recommended here, I
think, but there are things I wish were different.

    Is Fairemail different from this:

To delete old email, I have to check boxes one at a time.
It says, Get 10 emails, which I think means 10 most recent, but when I
tap, I get 100 or more. I only want what came that day or the day
before, but I get over 100.

If FairEmail does't do these things, I'll switch.

I'm *very happy with Sylpheed*, does what I need (*.eml files).
Where I do have problems is on usenet where T-bird tisses
me right off while Pan just isn't that 'ready'. Now that I'm
kicking Android's tires I'll be looking at email AND usenet
clients, in each case the simplest rudimentary ones.
