note that it seems that 17.4 breaks Civ VI.. The game doesn???t get past
the
splash screen.
Has it been reported?
to both Apple and Aspyre. No reply from either.
Maye they're busy?
Apple never replies. Aspyre has been known to take months. The last time that something screwed up Civ 6 it took nearly a year for them to fix it... partially. The complete fix took an additional six months. However, that time the game was playable to some extent, it’s just that it crashed every
second ’turn’ once you got past Turn 240 (out of a nominal 500). It’s possible to win the game by 240, it’s just not really probable. This time
the game crashes at the splash screen at the start. It’s not playable.
And, as nothing else seems to have fatal problems with iPadOS 17.4, I suspect that the problem is Aspyre, not Apple.
