  • ipad keeps asking to sign in

    Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
    Apple keeps prompting me to sign in.. when I sign in things appear ok, but then after a few days it asks me to sign in again.
    I've already tried logging out completely from icloud and logging in again, but that doesn't seem to help.

    Try rebooting iPad? My super old iPhone 4S kept doing this in loop with
    its App Store. :(

    Thx, gonna try, but it'll take some days to see if it helps (unlikely though, since signing in and
    out from icloud, which I've tried earlier also included a reboot).
    I also have an older ipad mini that uses the same apple id and it doesn't have any problem.
    Both ipads are fully updated.

    I had a chat with Apple support and they told me to enable the Keychain in the iCloud
    settings.. hopefully that has fixed the issue.

    I don't use Keychain on my older ipad mini (iOS 12.5.6) and it doesn't have the same problem of
    frequent sign-in prompts. But perhaps they changed something in the newer versions
    of iPadOS (I have iPadOS 16.2 on the new ipad mini) to push people to use keychain.
