first time I've been addressed, I suppose. It's a damn shame you can't copy the error message. That's a huge inconvenience. Periods and commas may be interchanged. The text is too small for me to read accurately.

    Here is the error message:
Arius - sales, SSL: 1 messages left to send, RCPT TO:<email redacted> [09:56:36 AM]
Can't send to ". The server gives this reason: '550 through this server without authentication.'.

This is a rabbit hole I've been down before. If I have to, I will contact my hosting provider, but they tend to be focused on issues at their end only. They almost always simply point you to the very simplistic page for setting up POP3 accounts.

I'm using version 7.1.0.9 paid mode, under Windows 10.

I seem to have found it. There's a check box in the account setup for "Use submission port (587). I checked that and it started working. I checked the others, and none of the accounts had this checked.

I vaguely recall seeing this issue before, or at least an issue where the same feature detail in all the accounts had been turned off. I think Eudora either crashed, or more likely was crashed by Windows when I did an update the other day. I'm guessing
this is what caused the corruption. Odd that it's only one detail in every account in the settings.

Maybe this will help someone else.
